Refund policy
At Standard Chemicals Corporation, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality pool and water-treatment products. Because many of the items we sell are regulated chemical goods, our refund and return policies must follow strict safety and compliance requirements.
1. Return Eligibility (All Sales Are Final)
All sales are final. Due to federal regulations (EPA/FIFRA) and hazardous material handling laws, we cannot accept returns on any chemical products.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Opened containers
- Products that have been used, partially used, or altered
- Chemicals that show signs of exposure to moisture, contamination, or improper storage
- Hazardous materials shipped without prior authorization
If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery so we can make it right.
2. Damaged or Incorrect Items (Only Exception)
If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, we will promptly resolve the issue.
To qualify for a replacement:
- Email us at support@standardchemicals.com within 7 days
- Include your order number
- Attach clear photos of the product and packaging
Once validated, we will issue a replacement shipment at no cost to you.
3. Non-Returnable Items
Because chlorine products are regulated chemicals, customers must not ship items back under any circumstances. For safety and regulatory compliance, this includes the following:
- Calcium hypochlorite (Cal Hypo)
- Trichloroisocyanuric acid (TCCA)
- Dichloroisocyanurate (Dichlor)
- Sodium hypochlorite products
- Any other hazardous or EPA-registered chemicals
4. Replacement Processing Time
Once a damaged or incorrect item claim is approved, your replacement will be processed within 3-4 business days.
5. Order Cancellations
Orders cannot be cancelled once they have entered the fulfillment process, as regulated chemical shipments cannot be intercepted or returned to our facility.
